André Grumbach

André Grumbach is a former German football player .

Life

Grumbach played in youth for the Hamburg Blue Devils and was named the best player in the final of the German youth championship in 1999, which he won with Hamburg 43-0 against the Stuttgart Scorpions  . He ran in the playing years 2000, 2001 and 2003 for the men of the Hamburg Blue Devils in the highest German league, the GFL . In 2001 and 2003 he became German champions with the team. In both years Hamburg defeated the Braunschweig Lions in the final . Later,  Grumbach , who was used as a wide receiver , played for the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates in the regional league. He joined the Norderstedt Nordic Wolves (also Regional League) as an assistant coach from 2007.
