André Maschinot
André Maschinot (born June 28, 1903 in Valdoie , † March 10, 1963 ) was a French football player .
Career
The striker was appointed to the French national football team five times between 1927 and 1930 . In addition, there was an international match against Brazil in the summer of 1930 that was not officially considered .
Maschinot was part of the French contingent at the 1930 World Cup in Uruguay . In the preliminary round match against Mexico , he scored his only two goals for the national team in France's 4-1 victory. This made him the first player to score two goals in one game at a soccer World Cup .
In 1935 he won the French football championship with FC Sochaux .
