Andrés Scagliola
Andrés Scagliola (born January 17, 1975 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan politician of the Frente Amplio .
Life
Scagliola studied political science at the Universidad de la República . Scagliola was a member of the Cámara de Representantes , the Chamber of Deputies of Uruguay , from 1994 to 2015 . From 2010 he was director of the Uruguayan Ministry of Social Affairs. In November 2011 he came out as the first gay MP in Uruguay.
