Andrea Höglinger

Andrea Höglinger (born July 3, 1967 in Kleinzell im Mühlkreis ) is an Austrian social researcher and manager in the field of research financing.

Life

Höglinger grew up in the rural community where she was born and also attended elementary school here . After completing secondary school , she switched to the higher federal institute for economic professions in Perg . After obtaining the graduation she studied at the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Economics a study irregular of Social and Economic Sciences and ended it as Magistra .

Professional

Since completing her university education, Höglinger initially worked in the field of social research, from then on mainly in the field of research financing. For several years she worked as a project manager and research assistant at several research institutes, including the Center for Social Innovation . She has been working for the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) since 2000 . Initially she was team leader, in 2011 she took over the division management of the European and international programs as well as the coordinating national contact point (NCP) for Horizon 2020 .

Höglinger is an internationally renowned expert in the field of multinational research funding. At research and technology events as well as seminar organizers in Austria and other countries, she appears as a moderator as well as a speaker.
