In addition to her teaching activities, she was the initiator and co-founder of the working group “Collecting and Display”, which organized numerous conferences on the history of collections, such as B. "Collecting & Dynastic Ambition" in 2006.

Research priorities

Her research focuses on the history of archeology and the history of collections in the Renaissance. Along with this, she deals with the presentation of collectibles and the influence of social and religious trends on collections and collectors. Furthermore, the architecture of palaces and churches as well as private and public spaces within the princely residence are a focus of her research and teaching. A new direction lies in the connection between museology, collections and the digital humanities.
