Andreas Brümmer

Andreas Brümmer (born May 17, 1963 in Thuine ) is a professor of fluid technology at the Technical University of Dortmund .

Life

From 1984 to 1990 Brümmer studied mechanical engineering with a focus on fluid mechanics at the Technical University of Braunschweig . After graduating, he worked as a research assistant at the Technical University of Braunschweig. In 1997 he received his doctorate on the subject of a multiple flight line method for analyzing the gliding flight of birds .

After completing his doctorate, Brümmer switched to Kötter Consulting Engineers, where he was employed as the head of the fluid dynamics department until 2005. From 2005 to 2006 he worked there as technical manager.

In 2006 Brümmer became the owner of the former department for fluid energy machines at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Dortmund.

From 2008 to 2010 Brümmer was Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Dortmund.
