Andreas Ridder

Andreas Ridder (born September 27, 1964 in Warendorf ) is a former German soccer player . The midfielder was active for Arminia Bielefeld and VfL Bochum .

Ridder began his career at TBV Lemgo and moved to Arminia Bielefeld in 1980. Five years later he made the leap to the professional team. With the Arminia he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga in 1988 and missed promotion a year later. Then Ridder moved to Bundesliga club VfL Bochum , for whom he played until 1991. For the 1991/92 season he returned to Bielefeld. With his team he qualified for the Regionalliga West / Southwest in 1994 and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1995. At the same time he ended his playing career. Ridder played 26 times in the Bundesliga (one goal) and 88 times in the 2nd Bundesliga (five goals).

Today Ridder trains TuS Brake in the district league A Lemgo .
