Andreas Schmidt (Author)
Andreas Schmidt (* 1957 in Crimmitschau ) is a German writer and publicist.
Life
After graduating from a polytechnic high school , he initially trained as a photographer. In 1982, after five years in Stasi detention, he moved to the Federal Republic. Here he was the author of articles in periodicals on the subject of the GDR and Stasi, as well as a book author. Since the fall of the Wall, Schmidt has been working as a consultant in adult education, author and photographer in Saxony.
