Andreas Schubert (politician)

Andreas Schubert (* 1970 in Gera ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). In the state elections in Thuringia in 2019 , he received a mandate on his party's state list.

Life

In 1989, Andreas Schubert passed the Abitur exam at the workers and farmers faculty in Halle. He then studied geophysics in Moscow from 1990 to 1995 with a degree in engineering. He returned to Germany and worked for a gas supplier until 1999. From 2002 to 2004 he qualified as an administrative clerk while working.

Party and politics

Schubert joined the PDS in 2000. He was elected to the city council of Gera in 2004 and was chairman of his party in 2016.
