Andrew Brons

Andrew Brons (born June 3, 1947 in London ) is a British politician ( National Socialist Movement , British National Front , British National Party , British Democratic Party ).

Life

Brons attended Harrogate Grammar School and studied political science at the University of York , where he graduated in 1970. Brons was after the end of his studies from 1970 to 2005 as a professor at Harrogate College . Brons has two daughters.

politics

Brons has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 . Brons is a member of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs and a delegation to the EU-Croatia Joint Parliamentary Committee . He is a deputy in the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs .

In October 2012, Brons resigned from the BNP after a leadership dispute with Nick Griffin and founded the British Democratic Party (BDP) on February 9, 2013 .
