Andrew Krepinevich
Andrew F. Krepinevich Jr. is an American military expert.
Career
Krepinevich studied at West Point (BA) and Harvard (MPA and Ph.D.). He served in the United States Army for two decades . He then worked as a government advisor and taught at various universities (West Point, George Mason University, Johns Hopkins University's School of Advance International Studies, Georgetown University). From 1995 to 2016 he was President of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments . In 1987 he received the Furniss Award for his book The Army and Vietnam .
