Andrew Rindfleisch (* 1963 ) is an American composer, conductor and music teacher.

Beef studied music at the University of Wisconsin , the New England Conservatory of Music and Harvard University, and has been Professor of Composition at Cleveland State University since 1998 . As a student, he received a Guggenheim scholarship in 1996 and the Rome Prize the following year. In 1999 he founded New Music Associates , a concert series for contemporary compositions. He is the director of the Cleveland Contemporary Players and the Utah Arts Festival Orchestra, and the founder and music director of the contemporary music ensemble Phantom Arts. He has directed more than 500 world premieres of works by living composers.

As a composer, Rindfleisch u. a. the Koussevitzky Foundation Commission of the Library of Congress (2000), the Aaron Copland Award (2001), the Cleveland Arts Prize and prices of the American Academy of Arts and Letters , the Fromm Foundation , the ASCAP and the League of Composers- ISCM excellent.
