Andromeda Software Development
Andromeda Software Development (short ASD ) is a Greek group of the demo scene , which was formed 1992nd The group has won numerous awards from the demo scene, including several Scene.org awards since 2003 .
ASD has no direct connection to the former Norwegian demo group Andromeda. Still, there was a collaboration with Archmage of Andromeda on the production of the demo LifeForce , which won the Assembly's demo competition in 2007.
history
ASD produced a number of small intros and demos for the PC in the mid-1990s , of which CounterFactual (winner of the first ever Greek demo party , The Gardening 1995) and Beyond (4th place, The Gardening 1996) were particularly outstanding . After that, it was quiet around ASD until 2001, when Cadence & Cascade - the group's first 3D accelerated demo - won the Digital Nexus demo party in Athens .
ASD has participated in many important demo-scene competitions since 2002. You won the demo competition with Iconoclast at the 2005 Assembly .
