Andy Rourke

Andy Rourke (born January 17, 1964 in Manchester ) is an English rock musician . Until their dissolution in 1987 he was bassist for the Smiths . In the financial income of the band, he was only involved in 10%. Since then Rourke has mainly played as a session musician and has worked with Sinéad O'Connor , Morrissey and The Pretenders , among others .

After moving to New York, he got a broadcast on East Village Radio and performed together with the DJ and producer Olé Koretsky under the name Jetlag in the local club scene. In March 2016, Rourke and Koretsky, together with his partner Dolores O'Riordan, formed the DARK project as the successor to Jetlag.
