Anemophobia

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anemophobia (from ancient Greek : anemo-, anem- = air , wind ; phobos = fear ) describes the panic fear of wind (drafts) and / or storms. This can lead to the avoidance of different forms of wind such as storms , hurricanes , cyclones etc. But even weaker breezes can cause feelings of fear. Those affected therefore usually look at the weather report a lot before leaving the house .
