Angela Baumgartner

Angela Baumgartner (born May 20, 1969 in Mistelbach , Lower Austria ) is a politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and has been a member of the Austrian National Council since November 9, 2017 . She has been the mayor of Sulz in the Weinviertel since autumn 2014 .

Life

Angela Baumgartner has been active in politics since 2010 and was part of the Sulz municipal council until 2014. On September 8, 2014, she succeeded Franz Pirkner as mayor. She is community party leader of the ÖVP Sulz in the Weinviertel and a member of the Austrian Farmers' Union . Baumgartner was first on the list in constituency 3G - Lower Austria East in the 2017 National Council election in Austria and has been a member of the National Council since November.

Baumgartner is married and has two sons.
