Angela Gotelli (born February 28, 1905 in Albareto , Parma province ; † November 20, 1996 ) was an Italian politician of the Democrazia Cristiana (DC), who was a member of the Constituent Assembly ( Assemblea Costituente ) between 1946 and 1948 and a member from 1948 to 1963 the Chamber of Deputies ( Camera dei deputati ) was.

Life

Angela Gotelli worked as a teacher at a middle school after completing her studies . After the end of the Second World War , she was elected in the first elections on June 2, 1946 for the Democrazia Cristiana (DC) in constituency III Genova as a member of the Constituent Assembly (Assemblea Costituente) , to which she belonged until January 31, 1948. During this time she was a member of the Constitutional Committee and the First Subcommittee between February 1947 and January 1948.

In the elections of April 18, 1948 , Angela Gotelli was elected for the first time for the DC as a member of the Chamber of Deputies (Camera dei deputati) and represented the constituency of Genova until May 15, 1963 . During the first legislative period , she was initially a member of the Defense Committee from June 1948 to July 1949 and, at the same time, a member of the Committee on Public Works, and most recently from July 1949 to June 1953 a member of the Committee on Education and Fine Arts. Afterwards she was first secretary during the second legislative period between July 1953 and June 1955 and then from July 1955 to June 1958 Vice-Chair of the Committee for Education and Fine Arts.

On July 3, 1958, Angela Gotelli, who from 1951 to 1958 was also mayor of her native Alboreto, was appointed High Commissioner for Hygiene and Public Health (Alto Commissario Aggiunto per l'Igiene e la Sanità) alongside Vincenzo Monaldi by Prime Minister Amintore Fanfani in his second cabinet Pubblica) appointed. In the subsequent second cabinet, Segni , she functioned from February 19, 1959 to March 25, 1960 as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance (Sottosegretario di Stato al Lavoro e Previdenza Sociale), and most recently between April 2 and July 26, 1960 again as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Health in the Tambroni cabinet .

Most recently, Angela Gotelli was a member of the committees for labor and social security during the third legislative period from July 1960 to May 1963 and at the same time a member of the committee for hygiene and public health. In addition, between July 1960 and June 1961 she was also a member of the Interior Committee and the Committee on Finance and Treasury of the Chamber of Deputies.
