The Angkatan Perpaduan Ummah (Muslim United Front) is a coalition of parties that has been running in general elections in Malaysia since 1990 and is mostly in the opposition.

The Angkatan Perpaduan Ummah was founded in June 1990 after the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) split in 1987 when Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah unsuccessfully wanted to be elected chairman against Mahathir Mohamad .

The coalition consisted of

and other smaller groups.

The coalition took part in national elections and elections to individual states in Malaysia in October 1990, but was only successful in the state of Kelantan , where all 39 seats in the legislature could be achieved. The regional government was formed under the influence of the PAS. This was repeated after the elections in April 1995. The coalition formed a catch basin for various interest groups in elections, but in 1996 tensions arose between the coalition partners because of political disputes and the PAS's policy of Islamization.
