Nagelmackers Castle, Angleur

Angleur is a district of Liege .

Angleur was an independent municipality until 1977, but was then incorporated. The place lies at the intersection of the Angleur – Marloie and Liège – Aachen railway lines . Stop at the train station and a. IC trains on the Eupen-Brussels-Ostend line. Angleur has the postcode number 4031.

The Austrian composer Count Ludwig von Stainlein (1819–1867) lived here at Château Nagelmackers , the family seat of his wife, and died there in 1867.

The town hall has been housed in the Château de Peralta , a former water castle from the 14th century , since December 16, 1935 .
