The Angleur – Marloie railway line (Spoorlijn 43) is a 62-kilometer electrified railway line in Wallonia and connects the Liège agglomeration with the Ardennes. Between Angleur and Rivage, it is part of the international Liège – Luxembourg route.

Route description

The starting point for the route is Angleur station on the Liège – Aachen line . The route crosses the scenic Ardennes . In Rivage, the Rivage – Trois Ponts line branches off the Angleur – Marloie line and continues to Luxembourg. In Marloie the line meets the Namur – Luxembourg railway line .

Operation and history

The line was opened on the Marloie – Melreux Hotton section on July 25, 1865, and on August 1, 1866 on the Melreux Hotton – Angleur section.
