Attack vector

The attack vector (Engl. Attack vector ) indicates a possible attack vector, and the attack technique that can take an unauthorized intruder, no matter what kind, to a foreign computer system to compromise , that is without authority to enter and then to take it either, or at least for its own Misuse purposes.

Most of the time, known security gaps in the attacked system are used. Such exploitation is known as an exploit .
