The volcanic field Ankaizina is located in the north of the island of Madagascar , in the Tsaratanana and Ambondrona mountain ranges. In early eruptions, smaller lava flows and deposits of pyroclastic flows formed . The recent activity resulted in the formation of multiple cinder cones as well as lava flows that flowed through various valleys in the Bealanana region .
