Plant (biology)

Among plant or primordium ( latin primordium , first beginning ') is in the developmental biology , the development of new organs or structures during individual development ( ontogenesis of a multicellular) organisms understood. The creation of organs in animals takes place almost exclusively during organogenesis in the context of embryonic development. In plants, however, organs such as leaves and flowers are created during the entire growth phase .

The German-language name is also used in English for this matter, next to "primordium".
