Ann Christiansen

Ann Christiansen (* 9. June 1966 in Gothenburg as Ann Linder ) is a retired Swedish swimmer .

Life

Ann Christiansen was several times Swedish champion, took part in the Olympic Games in 1984 and was three-time world champion in 1998 in the age group 30-34 years. From 1984 to 1991 she worked as a model. After finishing her swimming and modeling career, she trained in various physiotherapy and nia techniques, which she has been practicing professionally ever since. Christiansen is the only Nia trainer to teach not only the White, Blue and Green Belt, but also the higher belt levels (Brown and Black Belt). She is a Nia choreographer herself and has already created 3 Nia routines.

Sporting successes

  • 1980–1984: Member of the Swedish national swimming team
  • 1981: Swedish national champion in 1500 m freestyle
  • 1981: Participation in the European Championship in Split
  • 1982: Participation in the World Championships in Guayaquil (9th place in 800 m freestyle)
  • 1984: Participation in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles (9th place in 800 m freestyle)
