Anna Wladlenovna Samochina ( Russian Анна Владленовна Самохина , scientific transliteration Anna Vladlenovna Samohina ; born January 14, 1963 in Guryevsk ; † February 8, 2010 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Russian actress .

She was considered one of the most beautiful and sought-after actresses in Russia in the late perestroika period and in the early 1990s. She celebrated her breakthrough in 1988 as Mercedes in the Soviet film adaptation of Alexandre Dumas ' novel The Count of Monte Christo . In the same year she played a gangster bride in the Juri-Kara crime thriller Thieves in Law . In the following years Samochina took part in several dozen films and television series.

Anna Samochina died of stomach cancer on February 8, 2010 at the age of 47 .
