Annabelle variety potatoes

Annabelle is an early ripe, waxy potato variety with long oval tubers. It originated from the crossing Nicola x Monalisa . The potato from the Netherlands was approved in 2002. The Annabelle variety is well established on the German market.

Annabelle is resistant to the path types Ro1, Ro2 and Ro3 of the yellow potato nematode . It is also resistant to leaf roll virus and potato scab . Against Knollenphytophtora it is resistant only moderately. It should be noted that some literature sources advise against the use of the herbicidal active ingredient metribuzin in both pre-emergence and post-emergence treatments.
