Tubers of the Nicola variety

Nicola is a medium early waxy potato . It is particularly drought tolerant. Nicola has a relatively high tuber base. As a result, a plant number of approx. 40,000 per hectare should be aimed for when growing in the 75 cm row. The variety should be fertilized very carefully with nitrogen, the total target value is around 100 kg N / ha. Nicola must be cleared extremely carefully so that the shell remains intact and storage is possible.

Nicola was approved in 1973, from her the Juliette variety was bred together with Hansa and the Annabelle variety was bred with Monalisa .
