Ora (potato)

Ora is a floury variety of potato . She is also known under the name Mira. On January 22, 2011, she was voted Potato of the Year .

It was also very popular in large kitchens because of its cooking properties. She had a high yield at the time of cultivar breeding.

history

The breeder Lembke crossed the Ora variety on Poel in 1940. In 1952 it was approved as a variety in the GDR. Until 1980 it was cultivated in the area.
