Juliette is a variety of potatoes . It was created by crossing of potato plants of the varieties Hansa and Nicola .

It comes from France and was approved as a table potato in 1997. The late-ripening plants produce elongated tubers with yellow skin and yellow flesh color; the depth of the eyes is shallow. Juliette is one of the waxy varieties; This and its very aromatic taste make it particularly suitable for making potato salad . It has a high number of tubers per plant, which is why it is also well suited for the production of baby potatoes.

In contrast to Nicola, whose shell can be easily damaged, the Juliette grown from her has a thicker shell, which makes clearing and storage easier. Juliette is resistant to potato nematodes , but prone to potato cancer .
