Anne-Marie Pelletier

Anne-Marie Pelletier (born June 13, 1946 in Paris ) is a French Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

In 1972 she received the Agrégation in Modern Literature and received a PhD in Religious Studies. As a professor at universities, she taught successively at the University of Paris-Nanterre and at the University of Marne-la-Vallée linguistics, poetics and comparative literature.

In April 2017 she wrote the text of the meditations on the Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum in Rome. She is the first lay woman to be individually entrusted with this mission.
