Annegret Krauskopf

Annegret Krauskopf (born March 14, 1944 in Essen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1995 to 2010 she was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Life

After graduating from a university of applied sciences, Krauskopf attended a technical college for social education in 1969. She has been a member of the SPD since October 1, 1979, for which she was chairwoman of the Gartenstadt-Jungferntal-Rahm local association in Dortmund from 1988 to 1993. She was an assessor on the subdistrict board and member of the Dortmund-Huckarde board. From 1989 to 1995 she was a member of the City Council of Dortmund, where she was a member of the parliamentary group committee from May 1990. From 1994 she was the spokeswoman for the SPD in the committee for social affairs, family and housing, and from 1989 to 1994 a member of the municipal clinics committee and the school committee. From 1989 to 1994 she was a member of the Foreigners Advisory Council. Since 2004 she has been the federal chairwoman of the Association for the Promotion of the Puppet Play Method in Crime and Traffic Prevention (VPKV).

Krauskopf entered the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia on June 1, 1995. There she was chairwoman of the committee for children, youth and family from 1996 to 2005. Since 2005 she has been a full member of the Committee on Generations, Family and Integration and the Culture Committee.
