Robert Hampe (born May 6, 1879 in Badresch , † October 25, 1940 in Berlin ) was a German politician (DNVP).

Live and act

After attending grammar school in Stettin and in Friedland in Mecklenburg , Hampe was a member of the Emperor Alexander Guard Grenadier Regiment No. 1. He then studied law in Berlin, Heidelberg and Kiel . In Berlin he joined the Corps Marchia and in Heidelberg the Corps Suevia . He passed both state exams and then practiced as a lawyer and notary, for example for the Woermann line, for agriculture and for the sugar industry.

After the war, Hampe joined the German National People's Party (DNVP). In the 1920s he acted as in-house counsel for commercial associations in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, for example for the Association of Berlin Hotel Owners. In the Reichstag election of May 1928 he entered the fourth Reichstag of the Weimar Republic , in which he represented constituency 2 (Berlin) until September 1930. He was also a city councilor in Berlin.
