Annemarie König

Annemarie König (born July 30, 1980 ) is an Austrian singer, trombonist, bassist, guitarist, composer and fitness trainer.

Life

König grew up on a farm in the municipality of Gaal in the Murtal district in Styria together with her three sisters with their parents and grandparents. After primary school in Gaal and secondary school in Seckau, she attended the housekeeping school in Fohnsdorf. In elementary school she learned - inspired by the musical activities of her father - the accordion and made music with her sisters on various occasions. At the age of twelve, she performed with friends as a dance group at events in the vicinity and thus gained her first stage experience. In 1995 she began an apprenticeship as a wallpaperer, and according to her own reports, the experiences she gained have had a lasting impact on her future life. In 2002 she completed additional training in the fitness area and worked alongside her actual job as a trainer and choreographer. She has been active as a Zumba, Aqua-Zumba and children's Zumba trainer at the same time since 2011 and appreciates working with children primarily because of their special honesty.

Musical career

For some time she played slide trombone in the Gaal Musikverein and joined her first band a short time later by chance. König began to interpret songs from a wide variety of musical genres and gradually developed her well-known, unmistakable style, which is particularly represented in her own compositions. In her songs, sung in the Styrian dialect, she processes personal experiences, both positive and negative. In 2009 Annemarie König met her future producer, the musician and songwriter Johann Schwarzinger, in whose studio the first five singles, as well as her on 13. July 2013 in Spielberg presented debut album were produced. The single 'Sansibar' reached numerous top positions in June and July 2013, as well as number 1 positions in the most important national download charts such as iTunes, and thus followed the single 'Da Wind', which was also very successful in spring 2013, which was also was in the top 40 of the Austrian iTunes charts. Annemarie König has a special relationship with nature and her home region, which can be seen in her music videos. On the concert tour planned for 2013 and 2014, König will perform with a band, which will include drummer Ernst Grieshofer and guitarist Enzo Sutera .
