Enzo Sutera
Enzo Sutera (born November 8, 1976 in Palermo , Sicily ) is an Italian guitarist and session musician .
Life
After studying electronics, Sutera moved to the CPM Music Academy in Milan in 1995 , where he graduated.
In 2002 Sutera went on tour with Pippo Pollina in Italy for the first time . In 2003 a tour with Pollina and the Palermo Acoustic Quartet followed through Europe as well as an appearance with Gianna Nannini at the Tollwood Festival in Munich . With the band Carnascialia he recorded the CD "Déjà vu".
In 2004 Sutera toured again with Pollina and recorded a live DVD and the studio CD "Bar Casablanca" with him, for which he also did the mixing . In Milan he performed with the Swiss songwriter Linard Bardill .
In 2005 he was on stage alongside another tour with Pollina with the Italian band Il Parto delle Nuvole Pesanti . In 2006 Sutera performed with Konstantin Wecker in Munich and Imst . He also recorded the CD “Racconti e Canzoni” with Pollina.
In 2007 Sutera toured again with Pollina, partly also with Konstantin Wecker, through Europe and performed at the Rain Forest World Music Festival and the Penang World Music Festival in Malaysia . He was the studio musician on Pollina's CD "Ultimo Volo".
With the Enzo Sutera Trio , founded in 2007 together with drummer Toti Denaro and bassist Andi Kober, Sutera played in 2008 together with Compagnia Dei Folli at the Graz Congress. He was also on stage with Leo Aberer and Klimmstein and went to the studio with Chris Schermer .
