Linard Bardill (born October 16, 1956 in Chur ) is a Swiss songwriter and writer .

Life

Linard Bardill grew up in the German-speaking village of Cazis in Graubünden . Through his mother he has roots in the Romansh- speaking Lower Engadine and Münstertal .

In Cazis, his voice was trained in the church choir from an early age. On the recommendation of his church choir leader, he began performing at weddings and family celebrations at the age of 13. Bardill completed after high school at the Evangelical Secondary School Schiers the study of Protestant theology at the University of Zurich , where he graduated 1984th
