Annette Werner (* 1966 ) is a German mathematician who deals with arithmetic geometry.

Anette Werner received her doctorate in 1995 from the University of Münster under Christopher Deninger ( Local heights on uniformized abelian varieties and on Mumford curves ). She was an assistant in Münster, where she completed her habilitation in 2000. In 2004 she became a professor at the University of Siegen and in the same year until 2007 at the University of Stuttgart and has been at the University of Frankfurt since then .

She dealt with varieties over p-adic bodies , including Arakelov theory , Abelian varieties , vector bundles over p-adic curves, Berkovich spaces and Bruhat - Tits buildings .

In 2003/4 she was a Heisenberg scholarship holder . She is co-editor of the journal Archiv der Mathematik .
