Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting
The Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) in Basel is an annual conference of the global manufacturers of biological products for plant treatment. Since 2005, 300–400 companies and 700–800 delegates have taken part in the English-speaking conference.
The aim of the conference is the exchange of scientific experience and the presentation of scientific progress in the vitalization of plants and damage control in plant stocks with natural treatment systems, in particular bioeffectors .
The conference takes place every autumn in Basel. It is organized by the Research Institute for Organic Agriculture in Switzerland and is also the annual meeting of the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association , the formal association of the industry for biological pesticides.
