The Ascension coat of arms is the official symbol of Ascension , an equal part of the British Overseas Territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha . It was approved by the British Queen Elizabeth II in 2012 .

construction

The coat of arms shows symbols of the island around a blue shield with three silver (white) wavy bars covered with a green rafter and three silver (white) wideawake birds . As crest was a helmet three-masted silver (white) through blue-silver (white) Waves (a sailing ship torse selected) in front of a green mountain; The helmet is decorated with green, curved and jagged ribbons ( helmet cover ) on the front and back . Two green turtles serve as shield holders over silver (white) hills covered with green branches.
