description

The heraldic shield shows a silver field over a blue empty shield base . Three red dolphins twisted into a circle swim counterclockwise.

symbolism

The three red dolphins stand for friendship, knowledge and strength. The circle they form should symbolize continuity. The lower part of the coat of arms is turquoise blue and is supposed to represent water and symbolize the sea, from which Anguilla is enclosed as an island .

This coat of arms is also depicted on the flag of Anguilla .
