The Tristan da Cunha coat of arms was adopted in 2002 after the coat of arms of St. Helena was previously also valid for the Tristan da Cunha archipelago administered from there. On the other hand, the new constitution of 2009 only shows the coat of arms of St. Helena for the entire overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha .
The coat of arms can be found in the flight part of the flag Tristan da Cunhas and in the Union flag of the administrator of Tristan da Cunha.

In the divided blue and silver coat of arms there are four albatrosses in mixed up colors , in the middle of which there is a mixed up silver-blue diamond . As a sign holder on both sides a lobster of the species Jasus tristani , which is endemic to Tristan da Cunha and the Seamount Vema 1680 kilometers northeast . Above the shield is a helmet with a blue helmet cover , on which a golden ship's crown and a Tristan da Cunha longboat with set sails are emblazoned.
The motto Tristan da Cunhas, Our faith is our strength, is written in a loop under the sign .
