Eswatini coat of arms
Eswatini's blue coat of arms was introduced as the coat of arms of Swaziland and retained after the country was renamed on April 19, 2018.
In the middle it shows a typical Nguni shield, on which traditional weapons are depicted and which is held in natural colors by a lion on the right and an elephant on the left . The lion stands as a symbol of the king's power , the elephant for the queen mother.
The color of the shield is derived from the king's own regiment. Above the shield - which in turn stands for protection - is the lidlabe , a yellow-blue bead of a helmet with the headdress of the Emasotsha regiment, the tail feathers of the widow's bird, the feather crown worn by the king at the Ncwala harvest festival .
Below is the national motto "Siyinqaba" ( We are the fortress ) on a white banner .
