The coat of arms of St. Eustatius was established in 2004 by the council of the island of St. Eustatius . At that time, Sint Eustatius was still part of the Netherlands Antilles . On December 15, 2008, representatives of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Antilles resolved to dissolve the National Association of the Netherlands Antilles with effect from October 10, 2010. Since that day, Sint Eustatius has been a special parish in the Netherlands .
