US Consulate General in Istanbul

In the attack in Istanbul on July 9, 2008 , three attackers with firearms attacked a police station in front of the US consulate general in Istanbul . The three terrorists were killed. The police reported three deaths. One person was injured.

Two al-Qaida members were arrested in December 2008 ; they are accused of complicity.
