history

At the beginning of the 12th century, a Meginhart and a Siboto de Purchstal have come down to us here in the ranks of the Salzburg Archbishopric . The first safe owner of the castle stable near Halmberg in 1461 was Gilg Moser, member of the Salzburg nobility. In 1476 his widow Erntraut Agyl, daughter of the Salzburg mayor Wilhelm Agyl, was given the knighthood. Since she was unable to lie, her fiefdom holder Christoph Werder received the estate as a bag fief . In 1490 Mathias von Aham bought the Burgstall estate on Wildenau, which is now again issued as a knight's fief. From then on, he and his sons Jakob, Christoph and Heinrich von Aham called themselves Wildenau and Burgstall .

Jakob († 1530) received care on Halmberg in 1510 . His son-in-law Hannes Huber asked Archbishop Matthäus Lang von Wellenburg for the enfeoffment with Burgstall for himself, his wife and brother-in-law Georg von Aham. Georg von Aham zu Wildenau and Burgstall had received care at Burg Plain in 1555 and died in 1568. His widow Barbara Gessenberger received Burgstall as a widow's seat when the estate was divided († 1619). Then her second-born son Johann Christoph († 1628) was enfeoffed with Burgstall. His sons Hannes Adam and Hannes Heinrich were born in Burgstall. After the early death of Hannes Heinrich, Hannes Adam sold the Burgstall residence to Johann Ehrenreich Lasser in 1640 . His son called himself in 1658 Hans Georg Lasser Freiherr von Lasseregg and Burgstall. In 1773 Maximilian Josef Lasser Freiherr von Lasseregg was enfeoffed with Burgstall. After his death in 1774, this fief went to his sister Maria Anna, who was married to Karl August Freiherr von Laßberg. After that, her grandson Leopold Lasser von der Halden zu Lasseregg and Burgstall Freiherr auf Marzoll and Schwarzbach inherited all of Lasser's goods.
