Antanas Švitra
Antanas Švitra (born August 9, 1936 in Dainaviškiai , Rajongemeinde Lazdijai ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in Veisiejai near Lazdijai in 1954, Antanas Švitra graduated from 1954 to 1960 with a degree in medicine at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1960 to 1996 he worked as a doctor in the hospital in the district of Kretinga . From 1995 to 1996 he was a member of the Kretinga Council and from 1996 to 2000 a member of the Seimas .
Antanas Švitra was a member of the Lietuvos politinių kalinių ir tremtinių sąjunga .
Antanas Švitra is married. With Mrs. Stasė he has the daughter Rita and the son Valdas.
