Antanas Matulas

Antanas Matulas (born July 1, 1956 in Pernarava , Kėdainiai district ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 1974, Matulas graduated from Panevėžys Medical School in 1979 . From 1975 to 1977 he served in the Soviet Army. In 1987 he graduated with honors from the Kauno medicinos institutas and from 1979 worked at the Pasvalys Hospital . From 1991 to 1995 he was chairman of the council of deputies of the Pasvalys district community . From 1996 he was and since 2004 a member of the Seimas , member of the health committee (since 2012 deputy chairman). From 2000 to 2004 he was a senior physician in Pasvalys.

Matulas has been a member of Tėvynės Sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai since 1994 .

Matulas is married and has three sons.
