The Anthon Berg A / S is a Danish manufacturer of confectionery , based in Ballerup in Copenhagen . The company was founded in 1884 by the greengrocer Anthon Berg. The offer includes pralines , chocolate and marzipan .
Anthon Berg was initially run as a family business for many years and was taken over by the Danish manufacturer Toms in 1954 . Anthon Berg mainly serves the premium segment and has been a supplier to the Danish court since 1957 . The products are mainly marketed in Scandinavia and are also offered on most ferry ships to and from Germany.
