Anthophoridae
The division of living beings into systematics is a continuous subject of research. Different systematic classifications exist side by side and one after the other. The taxon treated here has become obsolete due to new research or is not part of the group systematics presented in the German-language Wikipedia.
The family Anthophoridae belonged to the superfamily of bees (Apoidea) in the order of the hymenoptera . The Anthophoridae are paraphyletic . This means that their last common ancestor is also the ancestor of another group of bees (namely the Apidae ). The Anthophoridae were therefore combined with the Apidae to form a family. The former Anthophoridae now also belong to the Apidae and the name Anthophoridae can be omitted. As the German name of the Anthophoridae, the direct translation was occasionally used: flower bearers or the name fur bees .
