Life
Father Boris Barbashin (1928 in Petrograd ; † 2000 Zelenogorsk) pianist and ambitious amateur photographer, mother Galina Barbashina (born Shirjaeva, 1948 in Leningrad ; † 2005 Zelenogorsk), painter and later a doll designer.
At the age of five Milagros attended music school; his main instrument was the violin . His interest in photography was strongly encouraged by his father. He got his first camera at the age of six . At the age of twelve he became interested in painting. One of his first great idols was Salvador Dali , whose diaries inspired him to use the stage name "Milagros" (Spanish: "miracle"). At the age of 16 he met Timur Novikov (Russian philosopher, painter and nonconformist ), who encouraged him in his plan to become a visual artist.
At the age of 19, Anton Milagros accepted an invitation to Berlin , where he still lives and works today. For many years now, his artistic work has focused not only on painting, but also on fashion and portrait photography and is regularly shown in exhibitions.
In 2013 he opened his own gallery in Berlin in order to make his own works as well as works by other artists accessible to a wider public.
