Antun Nalis

Antun Nalis (also known as Tonči Nalis , born February 4, 1911 in Zara , Austria-Hungary , † February 14, 2000 in Zagreb ) was a Yugoslav actor .

Life

Nalis first studied law at the University of Belgrade and then worked in a theater company in Šibenik . He made his first film with Zastava in 1949, who had a career of almost 100 films as a character actor , often in comic roles, in Yugoslavian, later also in Italian (made possible by his origins) and Croatian films. He was also in television films at the beginning of the 1960s, and from the following decade onwards frequently in series . With six appearances in Karl May films , he was one of the regular actors in the series.

In 1975 Nalis received the “Vladimir Nazor” prize for his life's work; In 1966 he received the Best Actor Award (for Pogled u zjenicu sunca ) at the Pula Film Festival .
